🚀 Costa Rica has become a leader in marine conservation and sustainable fisheries 🌏  by blending cutting-edge technologies with the traditional knowledge of its fishing communities. This approach focuses on enhancing data collection, improving traceability, and ensuring the responsible stewardship of marine resources.

🤝  Through organizations such as the Costa Rican Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture Incopesca, the National Longline Sector, and various strategic partners, Costa Rica is launching pilot projects that incorporate advanced tools—including cameras, sensors, and artificial intelligence—to modernize the monitoring of longline fisheries.

📢  In doing so, Costa Rica reaffirms its dedication to sustainable fisheries management, grounded with transparency, innovation and expertise sharing.
